Shaun and I had the pleasure of shooting Justine & Howard’s wedding last August at the gorgeous St. Regis Park City and it was just a ton of fun! all put together with taste and elegance by JOWY Productions of Beverly Hills with a little local help from Utah’s own Soirée Productions and Scenemakers. Great couple, great location, loving guests, beautiful decor and of course Elvis Costello providing the entertainment.
Oh, did I not mention that before? We’ll get to that.
As excited as I was to share this truly remarkable wedding on the blog, I decided to hold off when I learned that ‘Inside Weddings’ wanted to publish it in their Winter issue. Well, the magazine is out so I’m talkin’ it up! Read on to see the magazine layout, drool over the fantastic details and lighting, and uh….oh yeah…Elvis.

The Joe Muscolino Band kept everyone dancing and provided the background for Justine & Howard’s first dance.
St. Regis made sure that nobody went hungry.
And this was just the vegetarian offering:
seared portabello with chevre and arugala on a sort of red and green tomato culée with awesome sauce.
Or something.
And then it was time for Justine to give her groom her wedding present.
I had been tipped off and a handful of family knew about it, but for everybody else her present was a surprise.
And I can safely say that I have never seen a groom more surprised…
…then when Elvis Costello – one of Howard’s musical idols – walked about from behind the curtain.
She done good.
Elvis played 6 or 7 of his hits and had everyone up and rockin’ out, but my favorite part was when he did a cover of Eddie Cantor’s classic ‘Makin’ Whoopee’.
It was seven (7) kinds of awesome. Seven.
After Mr. Costello’s performance the bride and groom enjoyed a quick meet-n-great with the artist.
And Elvis even signed a drum head for Howard!

…and s’mores by the fire in the lounge area capped off a beautiful evening.
